Beautiful places to live

I know that we live in the most beautiful part of the world, but sometimes I see photos like this and I remember that there are many most beautiful parts of the world.

I have been having a similar conversation to this lately with other friends who have spent much of their life in British Columbia but have also had the opportunity to travel to other parts of the world. It is so true, although we brag about how wonderful BC is (and it is lovely), we tend to forget that they are just as many other beautiful places across Canada and the world.

hectic

It has been a hectic week what with grad school applications that almost did not make it in on time. Thankfully they have, and now I'm looking forward to a hopefully not too stressful Friday (I work both jobs today, back to back) and weekend. This weekend my goal is to relax and have a little me time, but having a luxurious bath and making myself feel wonderful. One of the ways to do so might be something like this:
