As I sit here procrastinating (well I have started, I just take lots of intermittent breaks) working on my grad school applications for Ontario OT schools, I figured I may as well begin my New Years Revolutions. I don not really have many, but it has to begin somewhere....

Along with this blog I have always kept a journal. Probably since junior high, and periodically through my childhood...but we all know what that was like. It is pretty hilarious to read back over the years at my trials and tribulations, especially through the teen years. But anyway, for 2011 my goal is for my journal to look a little more like this:

I figure by mixing in a little bit of artistry, scrap-booking and collage-making, I will fill my need to be creative more often (I hope).

Went and saw The Black Swan. Thought it was amazing, slightly disturbing and thoughtful at others. I don't mean to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet...but I really wish I knew what happened next, you know? Although I do enjoy movies with endings so abrupt as this. In other news, I would certainly do a love scene with either Mila or Natalie.

And updates: On Christmas day (evening) Corey and I got back from Sicamous with his family where we had a nice white Christmas. He took me to Malaqua, where he showed me his families farm house, old elementary school and other old hangouts. We tromped through dry snow and the feeling of it brought back memories of Yellowknife. It was wonderful. I wish I had taken more photos to show off the landscape, however I totally forgot to take out my little point and shoot and couldn't find my old Kodak.

Since being back, I've sort of been working and just visiting with family, and clearly not updating. I'm sure that will change shortly.

Tomorrow I'm off to lunch with the beautiful Kelsey and Teresa, so perhaps I will photo document that excursion.

Look that was forgotten

I don't believe I ever posted this look, but I'm in love with the skirt. We just got some pants that have a similar style to them and are done in the same fabric:

It has been a while since I have posted, so here is an update:

I am sick. And it fucking sucks. Last weekend I was doing my best to not get sick by taking lots of vitamin c, supplements, oregano oil, etc. Then whammo, as of Wednesday I finally hit the wall of bacterial doom and since have not been able to stop my eyes from watering, my nose from running, or my lungs from coughing. As such, I haven't been able to work my ridiculous hours (probably what made me sick in the first place), and thus haven't made any money. The only plus side is that my goddamn abs are burning and look pretty good.

I am also too scared to try taking any other drugs other than my benylin cough and cold syrup because it warns you that if you do you may overdose. Shit. That is not what I want.

Anyway, hopefully posting will resume soon.
