I need spring sun and flowers. The other day we took our teen group to Beacon Hill park to feed the ducks, and the reactions from both ducks and seagulls was possibly the funniest thing I have seen all week. It made me burst out with laughter, truly a wonderful feeling.

I wish my hair could do the second shorter style without being too puffy. I love having thick hair, but it does limit what can be accomplished or how short my hair can go. I also love the cold blond hair colour, however I don't think I'm quite pale enough to pull it off. My sister on the other hand, naturally has this colour....bother.

Some days I wish I were blond again...then I remember just how much of a pain it was to touch up the roots/how expensive it was. I guess we shall see what the summer holds in store.

Club Monaco just got a beautiful necklace in called the Drusi Pendant; it is made of crystal points jammed together and is only plated in silver around the edges of the pendant. I wish it did this all along the back because then the back wouldn't ruin your tops.

Raw stone necklaces have definitely become super popular lately and have made me go out on the hunt to see if I can find any reasonably priced items that I like. So far Urban Outfitters has been a successful bet, as well as etsy.com, so long as you know how to search for them.

I know that we live in the most beautiful part of the world, but sometimes I see photos like this and I remember that there are many most beautiful parts of the world.

I have been having a similar conversation to this lately with other friends who have spent much of their life in British Columbia but have also had the opportunity to travel to other parts of the world. It is so true, although we brag about how wonderful BC is (and it is lovely), we tend to forget that they are just as many other beautiful places across Canada and the world.

It has been a hectic week what with grad school applications that almost did not make it in on time. Thankfully they have, and now I'm looking forward to a hopefully not too stressful Friday (I work both jobs today, back to back) and weekend.
