I like reading Ish's blog because she quotes stuff like this:

One thing that makes me so angry that, when it rears its ugly head in any skin flick I’m watching, makes me stop, rant and rave at the TV for a while, throw the remote, pick it back up, and either fast-forward through the scene or turn off the DVD altogether. That thing? Acrylic nails. Not only are they usually ugly, but they are also wrong in certain settings, and one of them is a girl-girl lesbian sex scene! I simply cannot fathom how, in the years that pornography has existed in its current formats and in the many more years that women have been having sex with each other, it has apparently not occurred to the porn establishment that fingernails are sharp. They hurt when they poke into things. And they hurt a lot more when the “things” being poked are vaginas. Who on earth would go into a girl-girl scene with giant—square-tipped for Christ’s sake—fake nails on, and think, “Oh, this was a good idea”? When is the last time any of you saw an honest-to-god, real life lesbian with long, much less square, fingernails? Never, right? Ever wonder why?

Also Conflicted Existence of a Female Porn Writer is one of my favourite series. And maybe it should be yours too.

So what I'm trying to say is that I'm pretty happy there is another person out there (I'm sure there is more than just one), who does not understand fake nails in lesbian porn scenes and that it IS something that I notice almost automatically in any girl on girl porn...because I would not want giant nails near my vag...and I'm sure those women don't really either.

Also, I wonder how often they have days during shooting where the girls nail falls off or something?
